Years ago people used to always go on holidays with big suitcases and stay in big hotels, sometimes overseas and sometimes in the UK.

Many still do but, the younger generations started exploring Europe with their Inter-railing trips, camping and staying in hostels, some deciding they wanted to travel as light as possible.

The attraction of travelling light is the less you have to carry, the less restricted you are and the greater freedom you have to make your own journey and maximise your experiences.

Travelling with a big roller bag you are going to have to queue longer at the airport check in or wait at the baggage carousel and take a taxi straight to your big hotel and spend your holiday right there.

How we like to travel

At Tundra we like to travel light with just ‘carry on’ luggage like the yellow holdall pictured - however we always take our own sleeping bag for maximum flexibility. This holdall is ‘carry on’ size and contains a Tundra Supalite Traveller sleeping bag. You can see that there’s still space for a wash bag, enough t-shirts and grundies to manage for a couple of weeks (with a little washing!).

The Supalite Range

Choose from our range of Supalite sleeping bags - one of these could be your ideal travel partner. These sleeping bags are filled with the same high quality 880 Euro Standard (1000 US) fill power ethical down, manufactured from the same materials and by highly skilled workers in Warsaw, Poland as our as our cold weather sleeping bags.

The Traveller weighs in at 560 grams, with the Levo at only 495 grams. The Minimis is our lightest and most compact sleeping bag weighing just 420 grams. There are lighter weight sleeping bags out there, but we believe our super light-weight Sleeping Bags provide the very best balance between weight, comfort and durability.
